PLEASURE OF THE TEXT (2010)
Books are the physical trace, the magical conduits to places unknown and possibilities as yet unrealized. They are the tangible repositories of collective memory and conjured images. This body of work is an investigation of the sensuous space that exists between words, where sounds, smells and sights of people and places never seen materialize in the mind and become real. These images also address the ‘flesh of the text’ the beauty of the book as object.
